Reporting Your Mileage

FACTS ABOUT REPORTING YOUR MILEAGE:

  • If you ride outside of our District (District 13) your mileage is doubled. For example: If you ride to the North Port, Rotonda, Venice or Arcadia Posts, those are outside our District and would count as double mileage.
  • Mileage should be tracked both ways.
  • Passengers should also report their mileage. As long as you are on a bike - your miles count!
  • You don't have to ride to a Post or be on a sponsored ride. If you're riding keep track and report it.

As an American Legion Rider it is essential to always take note of the mileage you ride and report it each month. Whether you’re putting around town or on a cross-country ride, every mile is important to the support of our group.

And it’s so easy to report…if you attend the monthly meeting there is a place right on the sign in sheet to add this information. Or if you can’t attend the meeting you can email your mileage to us any time.
