Overseas Coupon Program by The Auxiliary Unit 110

COME CLIP WITH US!

Our group meets once a month at Post 110 on the last Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Please join us for clipping and fun for a great cause! All are welcome.

This important program hosted by The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 110 is a great way to connect with other members, make new friends and support our military around the world.

All you need is a little time each month to clip coupons to make a big difference. Please help support this initiative!

  • We mail manufacturers coupons to 23 bases around the world.

  • The post-exchange or commissary honors coupons up to 6 months after the expiration date.

  • Last year The Auxiliary Unit 110 received recognition by the District for outstanding efforts in regards to this program. We can do it again with your help!

CLIPPING COUPONS ON YOUR OWN

If you would like to clip coupons on your own and drop them off here are some tips to help us get them out as quickly as possible to those that need them:

As you clip Coupons please bundle them into these categories:

  • FOOD: Anything you eat
  • NONFOOD: Personal hygiene products
  • PET: Cat/Dog food, treats, etc.
  • CHILD/KID: Diapers, medications, etc.

PLEASE NOTE: WE CAN ONLY ACCEPT MANUFACTURERS' COUPONS  - WE CANNOT ACCEPT BUSINESS COUPONS SUCH AS "OUTBACK", "PUBLIX", "WALMART", ETC.

Please, if you can, total the redemption value in each category and attach it to the bundle. If a coupon doesn't seem to clearly state the value, such as "buy one - get one" , you can look in the fine print as usually there is a "not to exceed a certain dollar amount" listed. If you still have difficulty locating a specific amount we estimate a $3.00 value.

You can pack the coupons in envelopes, plastic baggies, clip or rubber band them.

Also, since this program comes under "National Security" please ensure that you track and report your time/hours spent doing this. This is very important.

Coupons can be dropped off at the Post at any time. You may give them to a Post officer or the bartender.
